Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains when you may request a refund for subscriptions and other paid services provided by 2A Software Developers.
Refund requests are reviewed individually
Some purchases may be eligible for a refund. Eligibility depends on the circumstances of the purchase, the reason for the request, the timing of the request, and any applicable consumer-protection rights. Submitting a request does not guarantee that a refund will be approved.
1. Eligibility for a refund
We aim to handle refund requests fairly and consistently. A refund may be approved when there is a legitimate reason for the request and the circumstances support a refund. We consider each request based on the specific transaction rather than applying an automatic refund to every request.
1.1 Requests made within 14 days
You may request a refund within 14 calendar days of the date the applicable payment was successfully processed. This applies to an initial purchase and, where applicable, to a subscription renewal.
The 14-day period is a request period, not an automatic guarantee of a refund. We may review the reason for the request and the relevant transaction before approving it.
For example, if a renewal payment is successfully processed on 1 September, a request relating to that specific renewal should normally be submitted by 15 September.
1.2 Circumstances that may qualify
A refund may be considered where, for example:
- You made the purchase accidentally or the purchase was not what you reasonably expected based on the information provided at the time of purchase.
- A paid product, feature, or service was not delivered, could not be accessed, or was materially unavailable after payment.
- A significant technical problem prevents normal use of the purchased service and we are unable to resolve the problem within a reasonable period.
- You were charged more than once for the same purchase because of a billing or processing error.
- You were charged for a subscription renewal that you no longer wanted and you submit the request promptly after the renewal charge.
- You believe a transaction was unauthorized or fraudulent, subject to reasonable verification of the circumstances.
- A refund is required under applicable consumer-protection law or another mandatory legal requirement.
These examples are not an exhaustive list. A request may be considered on its individual circumstances.
1.3 What we may consider when reviewing a request
When reviewing a refund request, we may consider the date and amount of the transaction, the product or subscription purchased, the reason given for the request, whether the service was accessible or delivered, relevant account or transaction information, and whether the same purchase has previously been refunded, reversed, or disputed.
Where appropriate, we may ask for additional information to verify the transaction or understand the issue. Providing information does not guarantee approval.
1.4 Refunds are considered per transaction
A refund request normally applies to the specific charge identified in the request. A refund of one transaction does not automatically refund earlier purchases, other subscription periods, or future charges.
If you have multiple charges, please identify which transaction or transactions you are asking us to review.
1.5 Cancellation and refunds are separate
Canceling a subscription prevents future renewal charges but does not automatically reverse a charge that has already been processed. If you want a refund for an existing charge, you must submit a separate refund request.
1.6 Technical problems
If a product or service does not work as described because of a technical issue, please contact us so that we can investigate and, where reasonably possible, correct the problem. Depending on the circumstances, we may first offer troubleshooting, restoration of access, or another reasonable solution.
If a significant technical problem prevents reasonable use of the purchased service and cannot be resolved within a reasonable period, the transaction may qualify for a refund.
1.7 Subscription renewals
Each renewal is a separate charge for refund-review purposes. A recent renewal may be considered for a refund, particularly when the request is made promptly after the charge. Canceling the subscription after a renewal does not, by itself, guarantee a refund of that renewal.
1.8 Unauthorized or fraudulent transactions
If you believe a transaction was made without your authorization, contact us as soon as possible. We may investigate the transaction and request information reasonably necessary to verify the circumstances. You should also contact your bank or payment provider promptly if you believe your payment credentials have been compromised.
1.9 Requests outside the 14-day period
Requests submitted more than 14 days after the applicable charge are generally less likely to qualify, but we may still review them where there is a legitimate reason, such as a billing error, duplicate charge, significant unresolved technical problem, unauthorized transaction, or a circumstance where applicable law requires a different remedy.
1.10 Circumstances in which a refund may be declined
We may decline a refund request where there is evidence of fraud, abuse, deliberate misuse of the refund process, repeated purchases followed by repeated refund requests without a legitimate basis, or other manipulative conduct.
We may also decline a request where the transaction cannot reasonably be verified, the same transaction has already been refunded or reversed, or the request concerns a charge for which another payment provider or platform is responsible for handling refunds.
These provisions do not limit any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law.
1.11 Purchases made through third-party platforms
If you purchased our product through an app store, marketplace, or other third-party platform that processed the payment and controls refunds, that platform's refund procedures may apply. In such cases, you may need to submit your request directly to the platform that billed you.
1.12 Consumer-protection rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or replace any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under the laws applicable to you. Where mandatory consumer-protection laws provide a right to a refund, cancellation, replacement, repair, or other remedy, those rights continue to apply.
2. What happens when you request a refund?
When we receive a refund request, we may verify the purchase details, the account associated with the transaction, and the reason for the request. We may ask for additional information where necessary to identify the transaction or investigate a billing issue.
Submitting a refund request does not automatically cancel a subscription. If you do not want the subscription to renew, you should also cancel it before the next renewal date.
3. Refunds after the 14-day period
Requests made more than 14 days after the applicable charge are generally not eligible for a refund. However, we may review exceptions at our discretion where there is a legitimate issue, including:
- A duplicate or accidental charge caused by a billing error.
- A payment that was processed incorrectly.
- A significant technical problem that prevented you from accessing or using the purchased service, where we were unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable period.
- Other circumstances that we determine reasonably justify an exception.
Approval of an exception is not guaranteed and does not create an obligation to approve similar requests in the future.
4. Cancellation and refunds are different
Cancellation stops future charges; it does not automatically create a refund.
If you cancel your subscription, you will normally retain access to the service until the end of the period that you have already paid for, unless otherwise stated for the particular product or subscription.
If you have already been charged and want that charge refunded, you must submit a separate refund request under this policy.
5. Renewals
Subscriptions may renew automatically according to the terms presented when you subscribed. A renewal charge is treated as a separate charge for purposes of the 14-day refund period. You may therefore request a refund for an eligible renewal within 14 days of that renewal charge.
To avoid a future renewal, cancel your subscription before the next scheduled billing date.
6. How to request a refund
Send your request to 2asoftwaredevelopers@gmail.com.
To help us process the request quickly, please include:
- The email address associated with your purchase.
- The name of the application or service purchased.
- The date of the charge.
- The reason for the refund request.
- Any relevant transaction or receipt information, if available.
We aim to acknowledge and respond to refund requests within 2 business days.
7. How refunds are processed
Payments processed through Paddle are refunded through the payment method and payment infrastructure used for the original transaction. We do not normally issue refunds to a different payment method.
Once a refund has been approved and submitted, the time required for the funds to appear in your account depends on the payment provider, bank, card issuer, or other financial institution. As a general guide, this may take 5–10 business days, although processing times can vary.
8. Technical problems
If you are unable to use a product because of a technical problem, please contact us before requesting a refund where reasonably possible. We may first attempt to diagnose and resolve the problem, including issues relating to installation, account access, activation, or supported device configurations.
If a significant technical problem cannot reasonably be resolved, we may approve a refund in accordance with this policy.
9. Unauthorized or fraudulent transactions
If you believe a charge was made without your authorization, contact us as soon as possible. We may request information necessary to investigate the transaction. You should also contact your bank or payment provider promptly where you believe your payment method has been compromised.
10. Changes to this Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, payment arrangements, or legal requirements. The version published on this page will be the current version. Changes will not normally affect refund rights that arose before the revised policy became effective.
